Creating your marketing materials

Published: Tue, 08/02/16

Hi ,

You want to create better marketing materials …

… preferably ones that bring in a steady flow of leads for your business.

I know this because, at some point, you signed up to receive my tips articles, a free guide or some other training material I offer.

And I applaud you for taking this action.

You see, most entrepreneurs and executives never learn how to write or structure marketing materials in a way that generates responses.

This just isn’t a skill you learn at school or when you get a degree.

The problem, though, is ad execs or anyone selling media space LOVE to prey on people who don’t understand what makes marketing work.

No doubt, you’ve heard the advice many give when you run an ad or marketing piece that doesn’t get your desired response.

“People just haven’t seen your message enough times,” they claim.

This reasoning is ridiculous.

Fall for this trap and you’re better off feeding your marketing budget to a vacuum cleaner.

Look, if you run poor advertising or marketing, prospects won’t respond whether they see your message two times or 10,000 times.

Your marketing must trigger an emotional response to a problem. If it doesn’t, then you won’t see many responses.

Now, even though creating lead-generating marketing pieces is a learned skill, you can shortcut a big part of the process.

You just have to focus on elements of your marketing that have the biggest impact on response.

So what are these elements?

Well, there are of four of them …

Of course, there are also several response killers.

One, in particular, is especially dangerous because it often causes prospects to change buying decisions at the last second.

This Thursday, at 12:30 p.m. ET, I’m holding a free training to show you where to focus your efforts when writing your marketing materials -- so you give yourself the best odds at getting responses.

During this special live webinar, you’ll see the keys that can turn poor marketing pieces into persuasive powerhouses.
